The inside story behind the ILLEGAL BSSP Boro Park Shomrim Truck!

We recently exposed that the NYPD's 66th Precinct allowed BSSP Boro Park Shomrim to operate an uninsured, improperly plated, and unregistered truck within the confines of the 66th precinct. Today we present the complete insider story regarding the truck. We thank all the contributors that have made this report possible. We're particularly grateful to two brave BSSP Boro Park Shomrim members that have provided us with a wealth of information, without whom this post wouldn't have been possible.

One day, allegedly, Brooklyn buff Booky Kaluszyner picked up an old freezer truck at auction with the intention of flipping it for a profit and was looking for a buyer. After allegedly being turned down by a few prospective buyers, he piqued the interest of several Shomrim members. This group of members allegedly led by Coordinator Jacob "Yanky" Daskal agreed to pool together the cost of acquiring the truck and committed to buying it. Allegedly, Shomrim members Motty Perl Unit-69 and Meir Wax Unit-43 laid out all of the money with the promise that the rest of the members will reimburse them their fair share.

Originally, BSSP Boro Park Shomrim Coordinator Simcha Bernath allegedly objected to purchasing the truck because he felt that this old freezer truck would shame Shomrim. Once it was purchased, Bernath allegedly refused to approve outfitting the truck with Shomrim decals. Daskal allegedly advocated for the truck and eventually persuaded Bernath to approve it. After a bit of haggling between Coordinators Jacob Daskal and Simcha Bernath, the truck was outfitted with Shomrim's decals and put out on the road.

For the initial while that the truck was on the road, its insurance and maintenance was allegedly paid by the same two members who laid out the costs of buying the truck: Motty Perl Unit-69 and Meir Wax Unit-43. However, allegedly, none of the other Shomrim members who committed to chipping in followed through. Allegedly, Perl and Wax were left footing the entire bill.

Eventually, allegedly, Perl and Wax decided that they'll have to take the truck off the road, as the insurance was too expensive, and their truck amassed a slew of parking tickets.

Fast forward a bit, and the weather forecasters were predicting a super storm in NYC. Shomrim felt that they must get "their" truck back to show off during the hurricane. With such short notice and the understanding that the NYPD's 66th Precinct and it's CO, Michael Deddo, would turn a blind eye to any of their violations, they put the truck out on the street without any license plates, registration, or insurance. However, they figured that they ought to have some sort of plate so as to not stand out too much, and installed New Jersey Used Car Dealer Plates (#6603 DMB) (seen on this youtube videoon the rear of their truck.

Sources tell us that the plates were provided by Tzvi Shapiro, whose widely accepted nickname is "EDP," an acronym for Emotionally Disturbed Person. This nickname has allegedly been first applied to him by his closest friend and buff Booky Kaluszyner who allegedly has close ties to BSSP Boro Park Shomrim. Shapiro owns a used car dealership in NJ, which sources tell us is legally restricted to operating in NJ. Shapiro is also colleagues with disgraced Shomrim member Avigdor Brief Unit-63 in East Midwood Volunteer Ambulance. Shaprio has allegedly been suspended from EMVA several times, and Avigdor Brief allegedly lobbied to have him reinstated.

It was time for Brief to collect on the favor. Brief then allegedly requested of Shaprio to borrow a NJ dealer plate for the Shomrim truck. This is allegedly illegal, as used car dealership plates cannot be used on any active emergency vehicles, especially in New York where the plates are allegedly entirely unauthorized.

Booky Kaluszyner, who boasts close ties with Shomrim and works for NYC Community EMS - chief rivals with East Midwood Volunteer Ambulance - also allegedly pressured Shaprio into giving these plates.

East Midwood Volunteer Ambulance is already allegedly under investigation for numerous discrepancies and alleged violations. Disgraced Shomrim member Avigdor Brief is the obvious connection between scandal-ridden EMVA and scandal-ridden Boro Park Shomrim.

WHY DOES THE NYPD'S 66TH PRECINCT ALLOW THIS RAMPANT LAW BREAKING BY SHOMRIM?

  1. Deddo is a disgrace his own family dislike him, he thinks who the hell he is. What else does he let them get away with, like voiding out summons for them and giving them parking permits that are for the cops in his pct, like he did whan he was C.O.Brooklyn South Task Force. He will punish his cops for not comming in at the end of the month with the numbers. But when he was a cop on Staten Island he make a collar he go to his second job while waiting to talk to the A.D.A.What if he caught one of his cops doing the same thing he what them fired.Hes nothing but a bully with a shield.
